The mandala is an ancient symbol used to center oneself. Symmetrical, circular and always with a center, the mandala image represents a journey inward in which the traveler can come to their heart, find peace and experience their inner divinity. The journey is most often transformational, as in the above work. Most of my mandalas have sacred geometry patterns—symbols representing the connection of all things and the connection to the divine. My intention for each painting was to co-create a healing mandala from the vision I saw, for myself and others.
