NEED COPY FOR THIS PAGE. There are many different themes: seed nature mandalas, flower nature mandalas, autumn nature mandalas, gift nature mandalas. After the nature mandala is completed, and signifying impermanence, the mandala is then gathered up and thrown to the winds, giving it back to nature. Nature mandalas can be done large or small, on the ground or on grass, in a National Park, on a trail or in your own back yard. It can be done alone or as a group project. A beautiful one is a Peace Nature Mandala, in which the thought of peace is first held for oneself, and then for the earth, and then the world, as pieces of nature are placed onto the mandala and it reveals the beautiful pattern and mystery of work.
