I teach various 6-week classes in Santa Cruz County—all of them about learning watercolor, mandala-making and painting from the heart. Some of the classes include Nature Mandalas, Flower Mandalas, Gifts from The Heart, Capturing The Light in Mandalas, Gratitude or Kindness Mandalas. Mandalas And Our Spirit Animals
Course Description
Mandalas are a beautiful and ancient sacred tool for centering, finding balance and journeying to our inner Self. This summer let’s have fun creating them. In this class we will experiment with different techniques like collage, nature mandalas, painting with alcohol. We will explore energies of joy, gratitude, our shadow, sacred geometry, healing, etc.
Always a playful class, the basics of watercolor and mandala making will be taught. All are welcome to our lively circle where we create from our hearts and have fun.

Course Description
Let’s explore our personal spirit animals and their meaning by incorporating them into watercolor mandalas. When an animal comes to us, Native Americans refer to this as “medicine,” meaning, anything that helps improve one’s connection to the Great Mystery and all life. Our spirit animals can offer comfort, healing and wholeness. Guided meditations, divination cards and our personal dreams will be used to discover our spirit animals.
The basics of watercolor and mandala making will be taught in this fun and lively circle in which we all paint from our hearts. Beginners welcome.
