MANDALAS, SHELTERING & HOLDING THE LIGHT #2

Michele Faia  >  blog  >  MANDALAS, SHELTERING & HOLDING THE LIGHT #2

These mandalas are the fifth group of mandalas from mandala makers which were originally from a Watercolor Mandala class in Capitola, CA. We then invited anyone, anywhere to join us while we sheltered. We continued the “class,” meeting at the same time and on the same day (Thursdays, 1:00 Pacific time) in the ether, to paint and/or make mandalas. All who wanted to were invited to join. The suggested topic for the week was: PAINT OR CREATE WHAT YOUR HEART WANTS TO SAY, OR IMAGES/MESSAGES FROM THE MEDITATION. How you are holding the light and what does that look like, are always available to be the subject for a mandala. A live meditation was available on Facebook Live and was saved on both Michele’s Facebook page and YouTube.

This mandala was drawn on a sidewalk in pastel by Nancy Howells. Her granddaughter and friend were drawing on the sidewalk and she decided to join them. I’m glad you did Nancy!
